A familiar landmark on Montpelier Row, The Clarendon Hotel sits in the heart of Blackheath Village, overlooking the heath towards Royal Greenwich Park. The confirmation means the hotel will continue welcoming overnight guests and local visitors for meals, Afternoon Tea, Sunday lunch, private occasions and events.
The additional year gives people more time to plan London breaks, family visits, days out in Greenwich, evenings at The O2 and accommodation around major local events such as the London Marathon. The hotel’s rooms and suites remain available for couples, families, business travellers, wedding guests and groups who want to stay close to the area while retaining easy access to central London.
Couples looking further ahead can now enquire about weddings at The Clarendon for dates in 2027. The hotel brings ceremony and reception spaces, dining, bars, gardens and guest accommodation together in one place, with support from its wedding team throughout the planning process.
The venue is also continuing to take enquiries for private events and celebrations, including birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, private dinners, conferences, reunions and celebrations of life. Its range of event rooms can accommodate both smaller gatherings and larger occasions, while on-site bedrooms can simplify arrangements for guests travelling from further afield.

For local diners, dining at The Clarendon will continue in the Meridian Restaurant, alongside Afternoon Tea, Sunday lunch and drinks in the Chart Bar. Guests do not need to be staying at the hotel to book a table or visit for a special occasion.
